This place is so buss you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, it's not the best dim sum of all time but it always hits and a go-to for me! Service is quick and everyone is nice

One word for Shanghai Rose - YUM. If you're craving dim sum or non-greasy Chinese food, I would definitely check this place out. We went on a Sunday evening. It wasn't too crowded. Lots of families getting together, couples, friends. The restaurant is spacious, well lit and clean. We really liked the Shrimp Hargow, Crab and Shrimp dumpling, Honey walnut shrimp, Shrimp fried rice and Mushu chicken. The Mongolian beef was flavorful but the texture was a bit softer than I'm used to. The pan fried noodles were a bit too crunchy for my taste. Will definitely come back to try the Lo Mein and other Chinese food offerings. The service was great. Overall, a great find for a dim sum / Chinese food fix.

Tony was very kind and went above and beyond. He made sure everything was tasty. He also allowed us to try the sweet and sour soup which is amazing!!!! Leo the manager was very kind and checked in on his several times. The hot tea has a ton of flavor. We had the Shanghai pork, wild crab and shrimp, chicken spinach, and finished off with Sesame balls. The beef chow mein with black pepper sauce very good. The look of the seating is very open and inviting. You can sit next to the window and enjoy the view.

Went here again on Christmas, it's become a tradition for us to come here. They didn't have a long wait at lunch. We loved the orange chicken, egg flower soup and sesame balls the most. The broccoli and beef was also good!

Foods are great here. My favorites are walnut shrimp and shu mai. I would've given this place 5 stars but the foods from my last visit were disappointing. The bun was very sticky, the wrappers in rice noodles and shrimp hargow were thick and dry and calamari had an odor that we often can get from seafoods that are not fresh. Hopefully it was just that day the foods went wrong. My experience from previous visits was great, including the service.

This is a new location, as they moved a couple of blocks over from Ventura Blvd to the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Ventura. The new location is spacious, appealing and includes inside and outside seating! I love the all-day dim sum offerings here. Honestly, that's my biggest draw. Plenty of options, prices are a bit higher than the traditional but not too far off, and every dish has been so tasty. Service was efficient, polite and fast. No complaints there. Plenty of parking in the lot and underground. I saw a valet option, but didn't partake. I'd recommend: shrimp rice noodle, scallion pancake, fried dumplings, juicy soup dumplings, rice wrap, sautéed string beans, and chow mein. Good for groups, individuals, and for couples to share!

I had to give it a new try Excellent food this time! I ordered via grub hub: the Singaporean Style Vermicelli which is a dish made of thin rice noodles stir-fried with BBQ pork, shrimp, eggs, bean sprouts, onions, scallions and bell peppers finished with a touch of curry. I truly enjoy this tasty dish and would get it again for sure! I also chose the Seafood Chowfun Malaysian Style: delicious dish made with chowfun noodles and Shrimp, scallops and calamari, all stir fried with bean sprouts, green onions, scallions and eggs in a special Malaysian sauce.
